		<description>Hey Gene,

Sounds like Canada has better border protection than we do here in the US!

Not really afraid of them, just not fond of them being too close to me that&#039;s all. Like ducks swans and suck should be in the water like those in your pictures, not walking across my feet in a supermarket parking lot. Sort of weird.

;)

<description>Hi Lydia and thanks for dropping by and making the comment.

Geese can get a little goosey and protective, even belligerent, just like humans, but ducks seem not to be so although they do take their brood away fast if the deem you are a threat.

We will see if we cannot send you some more Canada Goosies although as you know, most are here in Canada guarding the border against any US invasion. ;) We need a lot of reserves and sometimes they come down your way and become a huge nuisance.

They are killing them now around the NY airports and that will likely expand to the border soon! I hope we do not have to draft the ducks into service. We cannot really afford to pay them.

Must be the camera I have, and I always attribute the pictures to another source, I just point and click.

Sounds like you really are afraid of animals etc. Hey I saw a nice snake in the park the other day. Why I did not take a picture I do not know, it hustled away quite quickly when I approached it.

Cheers,

<description>Those are great pictures Gene! You seem to have a knack for capturing the best of nature.

Just down the road from here, there is a home with a really big pond. They have geese or swans or both not really sure, but they&#039;re really big, most of them are white..Anyway, while driving last week they decided to FLY right across the road in front of my car! REALLY scared me because they are so big!

Unfortunately, on my way back home, there was a car pulled over with the owners holding one of them. It looked like the car hit that one. The owner looked so sad. :( But in a way I was really happy it wasn&#039;t me who hit it. I would have been crying for days.

The type you have in the pictures we have in the parking lot of our supermarket. There are 3-4 of them that are almost always there. Inevitably, there is someone feeding them each time I have seen them. Today, one of them walked in front of me and almost crossed over my feet. Made me freeze. I like them, but much further from me than that.. Like, in pictures :)

Very nice..sorry for rambling on here..darned fingers wont stop :)
