I Dedicate this Ode to You

Half past 40 my spirit forever young
My search for the love has just begun
5 foot 6 1/2 medium build, dark hair, and more
Many interests, some activities I do enjoy
Without your love, all things are but a bore

Some say I do possess, a gift
Healing hands, sensuality, and I can be a gentle one
Much inner work on myself, though this has not been so swift
Forever learning, open-minded, curious, reaching for the sun

I do not smoke, do drugs or drink
No vices, you say? Ah! Maybe, with a wink
Can’t give away all my secrets in this short ode
Touching, feeling, love to love and give massage
Does anything here give rise to overload?

I would prefer that looks and size were not an issue
I cannot lie, you’d find out, then pass the tissue
I’ll try not to judge, criticize or to change you,
Quiet times, walks and talks are what I like to do
